Japanese Shinto God of Blacksmiths.

He created the solar mirror which the Gods used to coax the Sun Goddess Amaterasu out of her cave.

Having only one eye has never really been a problem for blacksmiths, just look at the Cyclopes. But Amatsu-Mara enlisted the help of his buddy Ishi-Kori-Dome anyway. Maybe the mirror was just too heavy for him to lift alone.
