The Dark Faced Japanese God of the Underworld.

The God of death sits on his throne in the underworld and judges the most dispicable souls, studiously taking notes as the deceased plead their case. I'm afraid sinners are sinners to Emma-O, he merely has to decide the severity of their punishments according to Buddha's Law.

Murder is frowned upon, even by the God of Death, and you can expect zero leniency as he exacts retribution. Don't even try to bribe him, you'll only make things worse for yourself, and if you're guilty of taking an innocents life you're already heading for a cauldron full of boiling molten metal. Take it like a man!

Now i'm not condoning this kind of behaviour, murder is wrong after all, but there is a loophole. Simply make a pilgrimage to each of Kannon's thirty three shrines and all will be forgiven.
