The magical Viking goat of Valhalla who eats from Yggdrasill the equally magical tree that holds up the universe.

This nifty nanny produced enough mead to keep the Einherjar drunk forever and they had some thirst. I wouldn't like to think i was the one milking her!

The giantess Hyndla once hurled the insult 'Heidrun' (she-goat) at Freyja but i'm sure this was a jealousy induced jibe at her beauty and not a suggestion you could milk her for mead. Unless, of course, 'milking' meant something different back then, old Fre' was a bit of a goer.
