Aztec god of frost, cold hard things, castigation and human misery.

He's sometimes known as the 'bent obsidian dagger' - read into that what you will - but i think it's got something to do with the curved piece of flint where his head should be. The same stone head is mostly pictured with a nasty looking arrow sticking out of it. There's a story about how it got there...

He was previously known as Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, the happy go lucky Lord of the morning star who was enjoying all of the glory that morning normally brings. Then along came Tonatiuh the jumped up new Sun God, promoted pretty much by default and making all kinds of ridiculous demands.

Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli took the law into his own hands and fired a stone arrow at the arrogant Tonatiuh. Unfortunately he missed by miles and the sun god sent one back with interest, hitting him in the forehead and turning him to stone. Now he has a stone cold personality to match which makes him ideal for the disher out of blind justice, but you can't blame him for being bitter.
