The eldest of Dhritarashtra and Gandhari's one hundred offspring, the Kaurava brothers, and chief antagonist of the Pandavas.

He was born from one of a hundred Brahman pots filled with what can only be described as grey lifeless goo which fell from Gandhari's womb, after beating her stomach in frustration at an exceptionally long pregnancy. Vyasa then topped the pots off with ghee and buried them for a year.

Duryodhana's body was made from thunder so you can imagine how tough he was. And he wasn't afraid to throw his weight around, becoming more and more frustrated everytime Bhima and the Pandavas made him look like a complete dick.

He had lost his best warriors and generals, most of them family, and almost lost his mind as he dived into a Lake to hide.

Summoned to his mother for a makeover of invincibility, the bashful Duryodhana covered his twig and berries when she asked him to get naked so they didn't receive the benefit. This created a weak spot that Bhima fully exploited with a deliberate low blow at the battle of Kurukshetra. That's what you get for trying to poison a Pandava!
