God of Wealth, Protector of the Soil and Patron of Farmers.

He is the father of Ebisu and one of the Seven Japanese Gods of luck known as Shichi Fukujin.

Also known as the Great Black One, because he's dark and chubby, he sits on two bags of rice with a sack of jewels on his shoulders. He also holds a magic mallet which makes wishes of mortals come true if he boings them with it.

Good luck God or not, i would think twice about wishing for a blessing in the manhood department... youch!

His likes rats almost as much as he loves children.
